Normally, when a smart home brand launches a range of gadgets, especially in a new region, it announces a few at a time, slowly building its portfolio. Not Mova. Today, Mova officially launched nearly 40 devices as it looks to cover all corners of the Australian smart appliance market.
That’s a lot of robot vacuums, mowers, and kitchen gadgets (among everything else).
Mova had previously launched several of its latest robot vacuums locally, including the two-armed V70 Ultra Complete and mopping specialist Z70 Ultra Roller. It’s also dabbling in robotic pool cleaners, too. But today’s expansive launch signalled Mova’s intent to be a major player in Australia’s growing smart appliance market, alongside the likes of SharkNinja and Dyson.
A sub-brand of Dreame, Mova specialises in robot cleaners, spanning indoor and outdoor devices. However, it’s expanding beyond robot cleaners and mowers. In addition to robotics, the recently launched gadgets range from hair dryers and toothbrushes to air fryers and smart pet feeders.
“Australians don’t need more technology demanding their attention, they crave technology that gives them time back,” said Nancy Zhang, Country Manager, Mova ANZ. “This launch shows how quickly the idea of the smart home is changing.”
“It is no longer one connected device in one room; intelligence can now move with you across the whole home and into the outdoors.”
One of the major contributors to Mova’s extensive launch is its range of robot mowers. Coinciding with Roborock’s local robot mower launch, Mova’s range starts at $1,399 for the ViAX 300 small yard specialist, going all the way up to $3,999 for the more rugged LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD model. Together, they round out the brand’s robot devices to tackle most common household chores, indoors and outdoors.
